The Eavons were intelligent imperialists and a member of The 44 Peoples. They were created in the 3rd Dispensation by Mother Kátotora in the supervolcano known as Kátotora’s Crown, with the main material being often cited in mythological texts as “that which the rest would cast aside.” This direct and unnatural form of creation gave way to the exonym “human,” which in the Aegiino language means “god animal.”
Eavon history is complex and rapid, as major developments occurred almost annually due to their expansion across Eranosia, their adaptability, and their unique traits and motivations. Initially a disparaged group of primitive tribes, Eavons soon evolved into more complex civilizations and even matriarchal kingdoms. In the 4th Dispensation, The Eavon kingdom of Collea invaded the holy land of Frauji, freeing the enslaved Zhāng and removing the Aegiino from local power in a continental ethical reformation campaign. When the Eavons were granted The Vessel during the reign of Anima the Fourth Arbiter, the first Sultana of the Holy Eavonian Confederation married The Vessel in a holy monogamous alliance. This tradition would continue for many generations, with the eldest daughter becoming the next Sultana and having her marriage partner become The Vessel. The Vessel acted as the religious and spiritual leader of the Confederation while the Sultana and her family were the political and economic forces behind human development. This monarchy would go unquestioned until the beginning of the Solstice War brought it all down.
The Confederation was divided into seven recognized ethnostates; Noma-Kai, Pahru-Kai, Arashi, Kala-Nir, Kile-Mahi, Lagasu, and Myoga. Each of these groups were culturally distinct from one another, but as all were members of the Confederation, peace was of utmost importance between them. Any conflicts between Eavons societies were fought diplomatically in the Royal Court at the capital city of Ekhe Esakyo.
The Eavons were also responsible for the creation of Machina, a new form of creation art designed to replace the difficult and chaotic practice of Alchema with something mathematical reproducibility. Skilled Machinists, in collaboration with the 6th Arbiter Parapraxes, made the Holy Eavonian Confederation into a technological haven that rapidly urbanized and modernized. The 6th Dispensation then became known as the Time of Prosperity, a time of automation and luxury when the Eavon population peaked at 9.1 billion. The side effects of this prosperity however was income inequality, forced climate change, industrial expansion, and the extinction of a number of species including sentient Peoples. These consequences would be the primary catalyst for the Solstice War to begin.
