The Farwei Wilds, sometimes abbreviated to Farwei or The Wilds, was the most mysterious and uncharted territory in the Holy Eavonian Confederation. Accurate geological surgeries are sparse, with considerable portions of Farwei never even seen by human eyes, but the area was still considered a territory for administrative purposes. The territory was, presumably, made up of dense, hot jungles and mangroves, inhabited by a variety of dangerous flora and fauna. This included Haküaladü, fůwutomkho, and orů, as well as many other unidentified or cryptozoological hazards that evaded the scientific community. The Farwei Wilds were also home to an enormous population of mosquitos, which became incredibly dangerous as they spread unknown diseases and parasites to Eavons with no immunization. The only documented members of the 44 Peoples who lived in The Farwei Wilds were the Virelai and Haküaladü, earning them a reputation of caution and intrigue. Some Virelai clans claimed that additional sapient species lived deeper within The Farwei Wilds, but none were ever documented or formally recognized. Eavon settlements in The Wilds were attempted, but little were ever successful as the challenges posed were simply too great. The construction of a permanent colony appeared to attract dangerous entities to an area that was previously considered safe.
Many continued to try to venture into The Wilds as myths around the territory grew, ranging from lost cities of gold to ancient Aegiino exocraft to even the remains of pre-Confederation Arbiters. These expeditions were seldom approved by the Royal Court and few survivors returned, those who did displayed severe psychological distress and were unable to reintegrate into society. Despite the cultural or generational difference of these expedition survivors, they would consistently ramble about something referred to as “the dealer” in between their incoherent episodes, the first mention occurring on 61/2/1330 5D. In the 6th Dispensation, The Royal Court would eventually make travel into The Farwei Wilds without explicit government approval illegal, resulting in a new border patrol program for the territory. While this aided in preventing unnecessary civilian disappearances, border guards and other stationed workers seemed to experience strange physiological effects. These personnel would report strange recurring dreams, a sudden repulsion to gambling and card games, and panic attacks whenever the words “deal” or “dealer” were spoken or shown in writing. Exactly who or what “the dealer” refers to was never fully discovered.
