On September 9th, 2018, I earned my Eagle Scout. In order to achieve this, I was required to plan and lead a significant service project in my community. For my project, I built a low ropes course in the back of a local city park. The course's purpose was to draw more visitors farther back into the park so they could experience the entire park and lessen the wear on the main playground.
Before construction on the project had even begun, I made 3D models on Google Sketchup of the obstacles. This helped me develop a very specific parts list, give the benefactor a clear visualization, and gain necessary funding for my project. After three days of work, I completed my project on April 5th, 2018.
