AboutÂ
I am Hang Li, a sociologist exploring contentious politics and youth experiences in contemporary society. My research examines movement tactics in post-1997 Hong Kong, supported by the Research Grants Council's Faculty Development Scheme. I have also led research on youth drug risk perception, funded by the HKSAR Public Policy Research Funding Scheme. My work appears in Chinese Sociological Review, Journal of Substance Use, and other peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes. As a lecturer in the Department of Sociology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, I bring over a decade of teaching experience in sociological theory, environmental sociology, and contentious politics. Connect with me on LinkedIn or via email to explore collaborations.
