Lebanon R3 School District adopted the Seal of Biliteracy in 2019. The Seal acknowledges students that have reached levels of literacy in English, a language other than English and demonstrated sociocultural competence. The Seal is placed on graduating students' diplomas and transcripts.

The Seal of Biliteracy is recognized and endorsed by certain colleges, universities, and businesses around the State of Missouri. Students can earn up to 14 advanced placement language credits. Students can also receive job placement preference and benefits. The institutions of higher education and businesses that have formally endorsed the seal of Biliteracy are listed below.
