In order to earn the Seal, there are several requirements to meet.
For the Seal of Biliteracy:
- Earn Proficient or higher on the English II EOC OR earn an 18 or higher on the ELA portion of the ACT
- Earn Intermediate Mid on the language proficiency test
- Earn at least 3 points for sociocultural competence
For the Distinguished Seal of Biliteracy:
- Earn Advanced on the English II EOC OR earn a 21 or higher on the ELA portion of the ACT
- Earn Advanced Low on the language proficiency test
- Earn at least 5 points for sociocultural competence
