The P.E.R.T
A Postsecondary Education Readiness Test that assesses students in math, writing, and reading.
Minimum required scores to maintain status in Collegiate Academy:
Reading- 106
Writing- 103
Math- 114 (123 for college Algebra)
For Collegiate students, the P.E.R.T is taken towards the end of their freshman year.
Juniors interested in taking DE classes must also take and meet the required scores.
Each test is approximately 60 minutes (additional time permitted).
Students are permitted another test free of charge at a TBD time (usually during sophomore year) @ the LHS campus.
Students are permitted 4 more opportunities to test with HCC for a fee of $15 if necessary.
Make sure to update P.E.R.T. scores on student transcript when submitting forms for course registration.
