Northern Mindanao Task Force for COVID-19

Executive Order (EO) No. 168 s. 2014 provides for the creation of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (EID), and defines the government protocol and response in managing EID such as, but not limited to: 

a) Port Quarantine

b) Contact Tracing

c) Treatment and Containment 

d) Risk Communication

The Northern Mindanao Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (NMIATF-MEID) is created to further translate the provisions of EO 168 s. 2014 at the regional level.

6. Department of Foreign Affairs

7. Philippine Information Agency

8. Armed Forces of the Philippines

9. Department of Labor and Employment

10. Department of Tourism

11. Department of Justice

12. Department of Transportation

Responsibilities

a) Assign a permanent focal person.

b) Attend regular meetings.

c) Take action on issues/concerns and agreements raised during the meetings.

d) Provide regular task group report to the Chair/Secretariat.

e) Provide assistance and support in all activities.
