1. Do you offer tours of the school?

Yes. We offer in-person tours by appointment only.
Parents can contact us directly to schedule a tour.

2. What ages do you accept?

We accept children ages 2½ to 6 years old, regardless of creed, color, race, or ethnic background.

3. What is the tuition?

Tuition varies by program, schedule, and age group.

4. What schedules do you offer?

Our school year runs September through July.

We offer:

• Full day and Half day program

• 5 day program 

• 4 day program

• 3 day program 

5. What are your school hours?

Regular Hours: 8am-5pm

Half Day Hours: 8am-12noon
 

6. Do you provide meals or snacks?

Yes, we provide [breakfast/lunch/snacks].
Menu is provided monthly.

7. Are you a nut-free or allergy-aware school?

Yes, we are [nut-free / allergy-friendly] and follow strict procedures for allergies.
Parents must notify us of any food allergies and provide allergy action plan.

8. What is your sickness policy?

To maintain a healthy environment for all:

Keep your child home if they have:

• Fever of 100.4°F or higher

• Vomiting or diarrhea

• Contagious illness

• Symptoms that prevent normal participation
  
  

Return-to-school rules:

• Must be symptom-free for 24 hours without medication

• If symptoms last beyond 24 hours, a doctor’s note is required

• Doctor’s note is also required for diagnosed contagious illnesses
  
  

9. What health protocols do you follow?

We follow New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH) guidelines, including:

• Exclusion for contagious illnesses based on NJDOH criteria

• Mandatory reporting of certain communicable diseases

• Sanitizing classrooms and high-touch areas daily

• Handwashing routines throughout the day

• Safe food-handling and allergy practices

10. How are weather-related closures or delays communicated?

Parents receive:

• An email announcement that morning, plus any additional alerts if needed.

This applies to:

• Snow closures

• Delayed openings

• Emergency dismissals
  
  

11. Do you have a waitlist?

Yes. If a class is full, parents may join our waitlist. We will contact families as soon as a space becomes available.

12. How do I begin registration?

• Schedule a tour

• Complete the registration form and required documents (forms located above) 

• Send completed forms to littlefriendsnursery@gmail.com

• Pay the registration fee to secure your child’s spot
  
  

13. What documents are required?

• Immunization records

• Emergency/medical forms

• Allergy action plan (if applicable)

14. Do you offer sibling discounts?

• We do offer sibling discounts.

• Parents with more than one child attending Little Friends may deduct 10% off the cost of the second child, and 15% off the cost the 3rd child.
