I started studying Exercise Science because I had a strong passion for fitness. I was involved with sports all of my life, so it only made sense to study what I grew up on. As I progressed through the classes, I discovered that being an Exercise Science major was more than just exercising. It is also about changing the lives of others by helping them perform to the best of their ability, which grew my interest more. At the end of the 2021 Fall semester, I will graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology.

In the fall of 2021, I plan to receive an externship position as a Cardiac Rehab Intern. I also plan on receiving my certification in personal training through NASM within the next year. For me, having that wide range of experiences will help me eventually reach my goal of serving all in the health and fitness community to the best of my ability. I am interested in roles such as Cardiac Rehab Specialist, Personal Trainer, and Health Coach.
