I'm a final year PhD student and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Glasgow under the supervision of Dr. Dinakar Muthiah, working in the intersections of representation theory and combinatorics.
Feel free to email me at lewis [.] dean [@] glasgow [.] ac [.] uk.
My interests focus on the intersection between algebraic combinatorics and representation theory. My recent work as involved double affine geometry and generalised affine Kac-Moody algebras, with a focus on the relation to this with Hecke algebras and their representations. In particular, I have a recently published paper looking at generalisations of both quantum Bruhat graphs and Demazure products in Weyl groups.
In the academic year 24-25, I held a Graduate Teaching Assistant Position at the University of Glasgow, and was involved in the lecturing and tutoring of several courses at levels 1-3 including Mechanics, Algebra, and Writing and Presenting Maths.
I have also been involved with several other courses throughout my time at Glasgow. For more details, please see the Teaching tab.
I previously organised the Glasgow PG Seminar with Marina P B Godhino. I have also assisted with the Double Affine Hecke Algebra (DAHA) working group within the mathematics department at Glasgow.
