The Zwaanendael Museum is one of six museums operated by the Delaware Division of Historical and Cultural Affairs. Built in 1931 to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the Dutch colony Zwaanendael, the museum serves as a showcase for the Lewes area’s maritime, military and social history.
