Welcome to Resource Recovery and Mineral Refining Lab   

From October 28 to November 1, 2023, on the occasion of Vietnam Innovation Day 2023, an event was held at the National Innovation Center, Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park, organized by the Ministry of Planning and Investment. As part of the event, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited the waste treatment and resource recovery technology model developed by the Central Institute for Natural Resources and Environmental Studies, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

On May 16, 2025, in celebration of Vietnam Science and Technology Day, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung and Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Manh Dung visited the waste treatment and resource recovery technology model developed by the Central Institute for Natural Resources and Environmental Studies, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

On November 16, 2023, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment hosted the "Vietnam Circular Economy Forum 2023: Building a National Action Plan for Circular Economy Implementation." The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister, Professor Dr. Tran Hong Ha, and Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Dang Quoc Khanh, who visited the technology model for lithium crystallization and particle recovery from electric vehicle batteries, developed by Dr Le Van Giang at the Central Institute for Natural Resources and Environmental Studies, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

On the afternoon of September 29, 2023, in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province, the Ministry of Science and Technology organized the opening of the "Vietnam Technology and Innovation Connect 2023" event. The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang, Minister of Science and Technology Huynh Thanh Dat, and Nguyen Xuan Ky, Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

On November 15, 2023, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Head of the Party's Central Propaganda and Education Commission, along with state leaders, representatives from ministries and sectors, and leaders of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, visited the CRES laboratory.

On January 19, 2024, Dr. Le Van Giang participated in the conference to implement the 2024 Science and Technology Plan of Hanoi, held at the Hanoi Department of Science and Technology. (Dr. Le Van Giang took a photo with Dr. Nguyen Hoang Giang, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology).

On November 25, 2022, Dr. Le Van Giang participated in the conference on key topics and specialized programs under the National Environmental Program for Building New Rural Areas in the 2021-2025 period, held at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. From October 28 to November 1, 2023, the Vietnam Innovation Expo 2023 was held at the National Innovation Center - Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park, organized by the Ministry of Planning and Investment. During the event, Professor Dr. Le Quan, President of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, visited the technology booth of CRES.

On the morning of October 28, 2023, at the Hoa Lac High-Tech Park, the Vietnam International Innovation Expo 2023 was inaugurated, and the National Innovation Center's facility was officially launched. During this event, the CRES technology booth had the honor of welcoming Dr. Le Quang Manh, Member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, Chairman of the Finance and Budget Committee of the National Assembly, who visited and took commemorative photos.

On October 29, 2023, the event "Connecting Technology and Innovation Vietnam 2023" took place in Quang Ninh province. Master Dang Huy Dong, Former Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment and Former Vice Chairman of the Central Economic Commission, along with local leaders from across the country, visited and were presented with resource recovery technology from waste by Dr. Le Van Giang, Head of the Laboratory and Environmental Analysis, at the VNU-CRES technology booth.

On November 15, 2023, the Former Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, Chairman of the Science Council, and the leadership of the Central Institute for Natural Resources and Environmental Studies, Vietnam National University, Hanoi visited and toured the Laboratory and Environmental Analysis.

Local leaders visited the exhibition booth and directly discussed the application and transfer of science and technology during the opening of the Vietnam International Innovation Exhibition 2023 and the inauguration of the National Innovation Center on the morning of October 28, 2023, at the Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park, Hanoi.

In order to promote and enhance cooperation in scientific research and training in the field of environmental studies, on the morning of October 12, 2023, Van Lang University organized a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement with the VNU-CRES.

Professor Dr. Lê Quân, President of VNU, shared the research achievements of VNU-CRES with Member of Parliament and Government Office during their visit to the exhibition on resource recovery technology in waste towards a circular economy on the morning of October 28, 2023, at the Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park, Hanoi.

On November 28, 2023, the leaders of Vietnam National University and Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Tuan visited the technology booth of CRES at the Vietnam International Innovation Exhibition 2023.

On November 4, 2023, at Hoa Lạc, Vietnam National University held the Investment Promotion Conference 2023. During this event, a cooperation agreement was signed between the VNU-CRES and Ever-Clear Taiwan Company, witnessed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Bao Son, Vice President of Vietnam National University, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Truong Vu Bang Giang, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Department of Vietnam National University.
