HATHA YIN YOGA This class gives beginners the best of both Hatha & Yin Yoga! Hatha uses body postures and breathing techniques with a goal of bringing about a healthy body, and a clear, peaceful mind. These postures promote: spine strength, stretch & alignment to increase balance & flexibility, improve circulation in all organs, glands, and tissues. YIN YOGA Is known as the quiet practice, invites stillness of the mind and body with gentle poses that stretch connective tissues of the body. Yin poses are held for 3- 5 minutes.

Lake House Studio classes are currently $10.00 for 45 minute - 1 hour class. If you have registered for a class and are unable to attend, please notify 4 hours in advance. This time will allow us to find a replacement given the distance people may need to travel. If less than this 4 hours notice is given you will be charged for the class. Please contact us for Private/Group/Special bookings pricing.

The History of the Lake House?
Our dream Lake House location was established in May of 2020, when we found the perfect place at the lake that had a studio space to offer fitness and yoga classes where we live. This studio space is set within the tranquil nature surroundings of Golden Sands, on the east side of Turtle lake, Sk. The Lake House offers the beautiful scenery of nature nestled in spruce trees. The Lake house has a relaxing deck in the front where you can relax before or after class and take moment breathe in nature.
The Lake House Studio has classes that are scheduled monthly based on the time of year at the lake. These classes offer a variety and are open to the of requests by participants, classes can include core mat classes, to outdoor boot camps to tranquil yoga classes ranging from power flows to restorative relaxing classes.
Many people come to the lake for holidays with family and friends, the lake house is a great place to book that girls getaway, wine & unwind, or some family time. Special requests for groups can be made by contacting us to create the experience you are looking for in a yoga or fitness class. Prices vary depending on the tailored package for your group.
What Lake House classes are being offered?
Classes vary from month to month:
RISE & SHINE GENTLE FLOW & RESTORE/or YIN This class is a great opportunity to connect with your body, breath and go with the flow. Start off with a gentle flow to get your body moving, wake up your muscle and spine and feel ALIVE! Gentle Flow & Restore ends with a restorative section using props to support the poses to relax, cultivated awareness and clarity. Gentle Flow & YIN YOGA ends by inviting stillness of the mind and body with gentle poses that stretch connective tissues of the body.
CORE FLOW & YIN YOGA This core focused Vinyasa flow class blends core strengthening exercises with yoga. Core flow is a varied class bringing fun props like bender balls and bands ending with some longer held stretches and stillness.

YIN YOGA Known as the quiet practice, invites stillness of the mind and body with gentle poses that stretch the connective tissues of the body. Yin helps soothe and relax the nervous system, with the goal to increase flexibility in the low back, hips, pelvis, spine and shoulders. Yin postures are held for three to five minutes which gives the body an opportunity to open and release tension from deeper tissues. ... Yin Yoga is suitable for all levels of students!

YOGA FOR YOUNG ATHLETES ( July & August) Yoga for Youth Athletes focuses on flexibility, stretching, body strength, coordination and proper alignment. Equal emphasis will be given to mental focus, breath work and restorative elements. Repetitive motion injuries happen in younger athletes too, as they are specializing in a sport earlier then in the past. In addition, competition at a younger age has intensified. So how can we help young athletes stay healthy and enjoy a long career in the sports they love? Yoga is a wonderful tool that is often overlooked and compliments the development of young athletes No yoga experience required. Contact for more information and availability
MINI PRETZELS is a kids 45 minute yoga class for the mini's aged 4 - 7 years old. We will practice basic and challenging poses, partner and group poses, play some fun yoga games and mindfulness activities, breathing exercises and more. Class will end with relaxation time and music. Dates will be posted as they are set on calendar and facebook.

OUTDOOR LAWN YOGA Let's breathe in some fresh air & stretch it out. This class is an all level and for anyone wanting to give yoga a try. This class will be out on the front lawn when weather permits.
TBC OUTDOOR CIRCUIT This class will vary each time for a total body workout, including the use of body weight, TRX, battle ropes, Bosu and dumbbells. This class welcomes all fitness levels, an effective, time efficient way to develop all round fitness and empower you to achieve your fitness and wellness goals. Participants can work at their own level and take breaks, as needed. This class will be scheduled as weather permits.
BARRE This class is a blend that includes pilates, yoga and strength training to the workout. Discover how small movements on the mat can be so impactful. The use of gliders, balls and weights can be incorporated into sessions. Barre class is accessible for any age of participant that want to gain strength through low impact movements.
RESTORE & RECHARGE This is purely a restorative session. Perfect class for anyone needing some down time to prepare for rest. Dress in layers, bring blanket, or anything that helps you relax ! RECHARGE RESTORATIVE & YIN is restorative with Yin combined in one class.
CORE & STRETCH Getting older can sometimes mean less activity, and it nearly always means reduced functionality and flexibility. That’s why people of all fitness levels who want to fight these effects are served well by the core & stretch class as part of an overall health. We will mindfully build strength to support your trunk. This also requires us to “be with ourselves” in a unique way and approach core & stretch work as a practice of cultivating self-understanding, self-acceptance, and self-love!
GET IN & GET OUT TABATA is a 35 -40 minute class consists of 20-second-high intensity - 10 second rest, is a calorie burning workout with no tricky choreography to worry about! This class will vary each time for a total body workout. This class welcomes all fitness levels, an effective, time-efficient way to develop all round fitness.
YOGA FOR GOLFERS Have you heard the good news? You may not have associated yoga with improving your golf game, but you should. Practicing the right yoga sequences will both optimize and maximize your performance on the course. This 60 minute class will increase overall flexibility, which can help improve your consistency, power, and accuracy for your swing, help improve body awareness and control, improve your core strength and stability, improve your posture and counteracts hours of hunching and bending down at the course, relieve lower back pain and counteracts tension from repeated spinal rotation, and teaches breath control and relaxation under pressure.
G.A.L.S (Glutes, Abs, Legs, Stretch) Discover your ability to get amazing results! With this 45 minute session focusing on activating core abdominal muscles, you will transform and tone your body during a fun workout session designed with your abs in mind. This class focuses on both enhancing the cardiovascular system and toning the glutes/abs. To wrap up... stretch to increase flexibility, increase balance and relaxation. All fitness levels welcome!
