My wish is that you fall in love with taking care of your mind, body, and soul! It is a true honour to join you on your personal journey to get moving! I believe in starting where you are and working from there in any fitness or yoga class. Physical activity is for everyone, whether you come for the strengthening, flexibility, quieting of the mind, release of stress and self-acceptance!
Kula is a Sanskrit word that can be translated as “community”, “clan” or “tribe” This word sometimes used by the yoga community to denote the sense of inclusion and belonging that can be cultivated through coming together to practice yoga.
Our kula, or community, is considered special because it is a group of people who come together freely, with intention and a shared sense of purpose. In this way, the traditional idea of yoga as a personal and individual practice can be expanded to include more social aspects and experiences of connection with others as well as the self.
I hold RYT- 200 hrs from Alberta Hot Yoga, with additional background of 30-hour Yin intensive training, 30-hour Restorative intensive training, 25 -hour Yoga for Athletes, 25-hour Sustainable/Aging yoga, and 25-hour Yoga Mental Health & Stress. I am an AFLCA group fitness instructor, specializing in portable equipment, mind/body, Barre, Turbo Kick, Pound & PiYo Live! To maintain my certification, I am constantly taking course to keep on top of the fitness industry, and be a lifelong learner.
