The general project and LTTA involved actvities inside school, in the classes, in small mixed groups of pupils from different countries and outside school students’ awareness of environmental iussues. The partner school developed spirit of responsibility, good attitudes and habits, consciousness about conservation of natural resources and their rational ecological use. The project activities were very important to share knowledge and to understand each other, and to grow the spirit of citizenship contributing to being active European citiziens respecting nature and cultural diversity The education took place through interdisciplinary approaches, both theoretical and practical and active action in workshops For the teachers, the project was a good opportunity to acquire knowledge and develop skills related to interdisciplinary teaching about the topic environment/ waste and recycling and to share and compare different EE approaches.
This mobility was an occasion for partners to review face to face some months development of the project.The contents of the activities was climate change. Images and notes on recycling plastic bottles, surveys, workshops, street interviews, visits and other activities were done during the mobilities.
Objective: Students learned how people affect the environment and what they could do to help it and prevent further damage. Students learned how items can be reused instead of simply discarded. They have known the affect on environment and what they can do to help it and prevent further damage. Students developed their creativity, practical skills and theoretical aspects related to environment and climate change by attending workshops and performing assigned tasks. Teachers improved their collaboration and communication skills, by sharing environmental ideas, suggestions, opinions, presenting data to their partners.
The purpose of this activity was that students became aware of the importance of environment in our life was discovering the main processes in which we could help the filght against polluion: the importance of reusing water, the importance of forests, waste selection. A goals of this activity was to increase motivation of teachers and students to participate in all project activities. Good practices were observed during the meetings and the cultural interaction was strengthened.
