If you're desperate to see Venice before it sinks 😬 (I know I was), you definitely should be! It's a city unlike any other, and it's not as touristy as you might think. Definitely worth a stop, even just for a day like us!

- The Grand Canal, the St. Mark's Square and the St. Mark's Basilica tours were all great!!
Doge's Palace "Secret Itineraries" tour
- this was the behind-the-scenes prison / Casanova tour we did. Also gets you in on the inside of the Bridge of Sighs - kind of neat!
St. Mark's Basilica and Campanile
- both free! just go EAAAARLY. Can't emphasize that enough.

Also, here's information about the vaporettos if you want to look at it ahead of time. Google Maps is also REALLY great and already has the vaporetto schedules built in so you can put in point A and point B and it will tell you which boat to take and where to get on! Like so
