The outdoor pop-up event on May 21st has been postponed (due to weather). It is rescheduled for May 28th. Live music and bell ringing with Two of A Kind! You don't want to miss this! Please see the Events Page! It's going to be great!
Here is the video https://youtu.be/MS26KYxvL_I of our first pop-up event on Wednesday, April 22nd at Media Friends. It was really good to be together!
Our Dream of an America "with liberty and justice for all," is being replaced by a Nightmare of chaos, violence, hatred, and fear.
Join us to Sound the Alarm!
We invite all people to join us who want to continue to raise their voices in support of the dream of democracy, diversity, equality, and freedom to
Ring a bell at 6:30 pm.
Ring them on your door steps, in your driveways, on your street corners, outside your dorms, with your neighbors, with a group of people or wherever you are.
We are ringing them for approximately 10-15 minutes each evening for the duration of the Months of April and May and longer if needed.
We have already started. Can you hear them? If not, get started in your neighborhood. Please join us!
We ring in support of continuing to build a democracy based on the principles of diversity, equality, and freedom for all.
We ring in support of the essential call to “love your neighbor as yourself" and to care for one another, ALL of us!
We are a small but growing group of neighbors and friends that have no other agenda but to continue to “ring out”this call and work toward this vision as the essential vision for our country.
It is time!
You can be a part of this growing movement. Just grab a bell and start ringing!
“And when this happens, and when we allow freedom (to) ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, Black and White, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old African American spiritual: Free at last. Free at last. Thank God almighty, we are free at last.” (MLK, I Have a Dream, 1963)
"If I had a bell,
I’d ring it in the morning
I’d ring it in the evening,
all over this land,
I’d ring out danger, I’d ring out warning,
I’d ring out love between my brothers
and my sisters, all over this land."
This song and this symbol have relevance
for us today!
Let Freedom Ring!
If I Had a Hammer, sung by Peter, Paul, and Mary at the March on Washington in 1963! Let's sing it again!
