Updated Arrival & Collection Times for Full Show Rehearsal - 21st January 2026

Dear Parents,

The arrival and collection times for the Full Show Rehearsal on Sunday 15th March have been updated on the Google Parent Portal. Please check these carefully.

We will be running all dancers in the larger space at Bisley Village Hall, Church Close, GU24 9EG. After rehearsing all numbers, we will run the show in full running order so pupils can see the other dances. This is the only opportunity before theatre week for everyone to practise entrances, exits, and interludes together. It’s essential that all pupils attend so they feel confident and our chaperones and teachers can ensure everything works smoothly.

Important Notes:

• Some pupils will have separate arrival and collection times and will then need to return for the full show rehearsal.

• Passport to Adventure will return for the full show run-through at 11:15am with collection at 1pm.

• LESTA on Tour will return at 4:30pm with collection at 7.30pm

• Pupils must wear correct dance school uniform:

  • Preferred: black leotards and black stirrup tights (except those only with plum ballet uniform (Melody Movememt/First ballet Modern and Tap/Primary Ballet, Modern or Tap).

  • Musical Theatre and Hip Hop: all black or black trousers with either the dance school T-shirt or show T-shirt.

The portal also includes:

• Arrival and collection times for Photo Days.

• Updated times for Technical Rehearsals on Monday 13th & Tuesday 14th March:

  • Passport to Adventure is required Monday only.

  • Senior dancers: Monday & Tuesday.

  • Most of LESTA on Tour: Tuesday.

Details for Dress Rehearsals and Performances, including dressing rooms and show week expectations, will follow shortly.

Coming Soon:

• We are currently working on the costume list and prices, dressing room allocation, and full details for dress rehearsals and performances these will be released shortly.

• We are also filming tutorials on how to put your child’s hair in a bun and how to apply stage make-up.

• In addition, we have organised Hair & Make-Up Workshops for parents and pupils to attend together. These will be held at LESTA Studios (Studio TBC) on the following dates:

  • Wednesday 11th February & Wednesday 11th March: 6:00pm – 7:00pm

  • Saturday 14th & 28th February & Saturday 14th March: 1:00pm – 2:00pm

We are also working on a system to allow you to book your child in to have their hair and make-up carried out by one of our vetted teachers or parents. This will be released as a first-come, first-served option, and there will be limited spots available.

Finally, we will send out a separate list of the hair and make-up items required, along with links to the most suitable products to make preparation easier for you.

How to Access the Google Parent Portal:

1. Go to the dance school website (search “Leanne Edwards School of Theatre Arts” or www.lesta.org.uk).

2. Click Parent Info at the top of the homepage.

3. Enter the password: LESTA5678

4. Click Access Google Parent Portal.

5. Scroll down to Show 2026, then select either Passport to Adventure (Mini’s Show) or LESTA on Tour (Inter/Snr Show).

All details can be found there, including full spreadsheets with pupil names and quick-view class times. I’ll also share a video on Band showing how to find the information.

2. Show Fees Initiated by LESTA on Monday, 6th October – You’ll receive a notification once fees are applied.

3. Costume Deposits – These will follow shortly after, with plenty of notice and flexibility.
