The goal of Lesson 1: STEM is to raise STEM awareness in our communities in order to excite and pique curiosity. By motivating children, connecting students, and providing opportunities for all, we can contribute to STEM involvement.
Through our global network, we've been able to connect students from 9 countries and host workshops for 1000+ students worldwide!
I am currently a Senior at Brookfield East who has completed multiple courses in science, including physics, chemistry, and biology. I'm highly passionate about the field of medicine and what it can do for the people we care about.
I believe in the importance of pursuing interest. My own passion lead me to create a YouTube channel, participate in tutoring, or even conduct research. Even if we spark just one passion in STEM, I believe we've succeeded.
Hello! I am Aarav Sinha. I am currently a Senior at Brookfield East who has completed Honors Pre-Calculus and AP Physics 1 in Brookfield and I am studying Calculus outside of school. I have passion in math, physics, and engineering.
My strengths lie in my ability to help kids learn math through concepts, instead of memorizing different formulas while not knowing how to use the formulas given any situation. I have seen this method of teaching being used in math for too long, and I don't believe it is sustainable for higher levels of math. I want to help kids start off on the right foot with their studies in mathematics.

I've taken numerous STEM-related courses, including AP Physics 1, Honors Precalculus, and Honors Chemistry. STEM is a crucial part of our lives, whether we realize it or not, and I want to help others find their passion for STEM and apply it to their daily lives.
I often find that too many people lose interest in the field because of a lack of exposure and little to no engagement. At Lesson 1, we want to center our lessons around our students, not content, because we believe creativity and passion at a young age is the best indicator of lifelong growth.
