Les Petits Explorateurs Preschool follows the Provo School District Calendar. If Provo District is closed, we are closed; our holiday schedule follows that of the school district. The only difference is the school start date: we will begin the first Tuesday or Wednesday of September (September 1st or 2rd). A monthly preschool calendar will also be sent home with your child each month and will serve as a reminder of which days we are in session.
Although the order and activity length may vary, our daily schedule will look something like this:
Free Play (includes outside & sensory play/invitation to play)
Circle Time (calendar, song/poem)
Read Aloud
Discussion
Learning Activity Rotations (Math, Literacy, Art, Sensory)
Game Rotations or Dramatic Play
Free Play
Snack & Manners Discussion (mid AM or right before PM pickup)
