Il triangolo compare ovunque nella natura e anche nelle costruzioni realizzate dall’uomo quale forma architettonica di base. Per questo il triangolo è un elemento costruttivo comune nel mondo organico e inorganico. La natura dinamica e l'instabilità del triangolo descrive la città in crescita, simboleggia il progresso così come il conflitto e la tensione. Allo stesso tempo, la resistenza costante del triangolo, quando sta seduto sulla sua base, diviene fondamenta per altre forme che rappresentano le leggi naturali. "L'umanità sta costruendo un futuro urbano, ma l'utilizzo urbano delle risorse sta minacciando il futuro dell'umanità e del mondo naturale." (da Creating Regenerative Cities di Herbert Girardet). "Le grandi città moderne hanno effettivamente cercato di dichiarare la loro indipendenza dalla natura", spiega Herbert Girardet, ma il loro futuro a lungo termine è incerto e il modo in cui pensiamo le nostre città ha bisogno di sottoporsi a un profondo cambiamento di paradigma. Il mio lavoro vorrebbe sottolineare il fatto che le dinamiche spaziali e sociali delle città stanno plasmando l'intero pianeta. Esso raffigura un uomo osserva la sua creazione in costante crescita, nell’attesa di un trionfo.

People are hungry not because the population is growing so fast that food is becoming scarce, but because they are poor. Numerous inter-re- lated issues like international trade, economic policies and the control of land lead to poverty and hunger and therefore less food availability. Powerful governments speculate over the ever-growing food distribu- tion, gambling with people’s lives. 

Shoes represent the powerful governments putting their shade above the food, stepping over people’s lives. All the shoes step out from the same point, the high point, the ‘power point’. Wheat grains because they have been used for thousands of years to provide food for humans and the wheat production today is a gigantic.
