Light and Color, one of the same, forever connected by physical laws until physicality becomes energy - and our eyes become blind to it.

I want to play with these phenomena - exploring visual solutions - to provoke the question of ‘reality’ and what is ‘real’ …

Is our world separate from us, given, made by external forces….. or do we CREATE it with our consciousness?

Who is responsible for our problems - under a personal or global microscope?

Are we again facing the times of our existence on Earth - when we need to rediscover who we are. Who we Truly Are.

I want to confuse the Observer with the Observed and introduce the third element - the Aware One.

The Aware One goes beyond physical, time and future concepts - goes beyond separation from nature, one another and self. If we reconnect to our true selves -  who are we?

And what does our world look like?

The nature of color and its evocative power have always been at the center of my interest. Turning to our senses, color appears to be an elusive and changeable phenomenon.

Every object and every form of life releases chromatic energy around it. By experimenting with transparencies and color reflections I want to capture this chromatic energy and put it on display.

I use wooden or aluminum strips, canvas, paper and acrylic colors as props. I process images on the strips, creating reflections between them, once the work is suspended on a wall or another neutral background.

The essence of this work lies in the illusion of soft colors floating in the void. The lightness of the nuanced and degrading colors recalls a sense of infinity, offering an opportunity for reflection on the variety of perspectives we can adopt to observe the world.

Natural landscapes, portraits and other subjects are transformed into dreamlike visions, where reality merges with imagination.

The reflections of floating colors give space for contemplation, reminding us of the temporary nature of life. The hidden beauty of the intangible takes shape and it becomes easier to see beyond appearance.
