Teaching has been a fun part of being a professor. The joy comes from developing an engineer, a researcher, and an entrepreneur. Indeed, I learned quite a bit from interacting with them including Clarkson on-campus students, engineers from utilities in Northeastern Region (e.g., National Grid, Central Hudson, and Eversource), business owners, researchers from institutions such as air force, and other private sectors. I am attaching some student review reports related to my teaching below.
Since joining Clarkson in Aug. 2020, I have developed two new courses, i.e., EE639 with a focus on distribution design, analysis, and operation (Advanced DMS), and EE630 with a focus on data analytics (state estimation, forecasting, and other machine learning based applications in power grids) .
EE630 Data Analytics for Power System Applications (2021Fall)
EE333 Power System Engineering (2021Spring, 2022Spring, 2023Spring, 2024Spring)
EE 639 Electrical Power Distribution System (2020 Fall)
EE 593 Control and Management of Modern Electrical Power Distribution System (2022 Fall)
GE Research Edison Engineering Development Program on "Electric Power Systems" (2017, 2018, 2019)
