Dr. Leo Yazhou Jiang is currently
an Associate Professor and Director of the Center for Electric Power System Research at Clarkson University,
a part-time Engineering Fellow at Energy Systems Integration Group (ESIG), and
a part-time Principal Engineer at the utility Avangrid and RLC Eng consulting firm.
His research is to develop systems and methodologies for improved resilience and sustainability of electric power systems. Before joining Clarkson University, Dr. Jiang was a Power System Engineer at GE Global Research, Niskayuna NY from 2017 to 2020 and R&D Fellow Intern at the same institute in 2016. He was the 2024 NSF CAREER Awardee and 2018 GE Dushman Technology Excellence Awardee for his contribution to differentiating GE products. Dr. Jiang earned his Ph.D. degree from Washington State University in 2016.
