Good Friday dawns, and the cross becomes the central figure. We hear the story of the Passion, and we respond in trust by lifting up the needs of the world in the ancient form of the intercessions dating back to the early church. Then, we adore the cross—no longer only a symbol of suffering and injustice, but now a symbol of amazing, astounding, love. On Good Friday, we have multiple ways in both parishes that we can spend time with Christ remembering his suffering and Passion- and God's great love.
