# Privacy Policy
**Effective July 11, 2026**
This Privacy Policy explains what information Lenso AI ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the app you agree to this policy.
## Information we collect
- **Images you search with.** When you upload a photo, a copy is stored privately on your device. To run a reverse image or face search, an image is sent to our search provider (SerpAPI) and briefly hosted so the search engines can read it by URL.
- **Usage & analytics.** If you allow tracking, we collect app-interaction events and device identifiers through Firebase Analytics to understand and improve the app.
- **Subscription information.** Purchases are processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat; we receive your subscription status, not your payment details.
## How your images are handled
Face detection runs entirely on your device. The image sent to run a search is used only to return matches and is not used to build any profile of you. Local copies of images you searched stay on your device until you remove them with "Delete all data" in Settings.
## Third-party services
We rely on: SerpAPI (search), the image host used to make an uploaded photo reachable for search, Google (Lens & Images), Yandex (image search), Firebase / Google (analytics & configuration), and RevenueCat / Apple (subscriptions). Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies.
## Tracking & App Tracking Transparency
We ask for your permission before tracking via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you allow it, analytics may be associated with your device's advertising identifier. If you decline, we do not track you across other apps and websites. You can change this anytime in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
## Data retention & deletion
Locally saved images remain on your device until you delete them. Use "Delete all data" in Settings to remove all locally stored images and reset your preferences at any time. Images transiently uploaded to run a search are not retained by us.
## Children
Lenso AI is not directed to children and is not intended for anyone under 17. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
## Your rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
## Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
