How to See the Eclipse
Always protect your eyes with the special eclipse glasses
From Santander, find a good place with a clear view to the west. One good place is the lighthouse where you can order a drink in the bar there and enjoy the sunset afterwards. Alternatively, you can take the trail "senda costera" that starts around the bar and follow the coast eastwards until you find the "perfect spot".
TBD : We may organize a bus trip to the mountains for people interested, at a high elevation point where you can see the shadow approaching and also the eclipse will last ~20" longer.
