FBLA is the high school division of Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, Inc. FBLA helps high school students prepare for careers in business through academic competitions (FBLA Competitive Events), leadership development, and educational programs.

The purpose of FBLA is to provide, as an integral part of the instruction program, opportunities for students to develop career competencies and to promote civic and personal responsibilities. FBLA's goals are oriented to: Develop competent, aggressive business leadership.

High school students explore college and career opportunities through a number of co-curricular educational programs. Members take part in academic competitions, networking events with accomplished business professionals at conferences, and community service projects. Plus, members have exclusive access to scholarships from a select group of academic institutions

Georgia FBLA members are given the opportunity to compete in nearly 100 different competitive events at the region, state, and national levels. These events include objective tests, interviews, technical skills tests, written reports, and performances.

FBLA Members build a portfolio of academic and personal accomplishments. The FBLA student portfolio provides real-life meaning to colleges and potential professional employers by providing documented students’ accomplishments.

FBLA members earn recognition on the local, state, and national levels with the Business Achievement Awards. This unique program recognizes members when they complete a variety of activities in the areas of service, education, and leadership. It’s a great way for students contribute to their school, community, and economy.

The Business Achievement Awards
The Business Achievement Awards are an individual achievement award program for high school students. Participating students have the opportunity to enhance their leadership skills, expand their business knowledge, contribute to their local communities, and earn recognition by immersing themselves in their school and communities.
Contributor Award (Level One) - Members are introduced to the foundations of FBLA and learn how to best take advantage of the opportunities available to members.
Leader Award (Level Two) - Members learn the fundamentals of leadership and explore their personal leadership style.
Advocate Award (Level Three) - Members have the opportunity to select a business skill or content area that they would like to further develop. Once completed, members have the choice of continuing on to the Capstone Project or selecting a new business skill or concept to earn an additional Advocate Award.
Capstone Award (Level Four) - Participating members will design, complete, and reflect on a project that solves a real-world problem.
