From my Inter-faculty interdisciplinary studies in humanities to my OP VVV funded MSCA post-doc at the Faculty of Economics and Administration at Masaryk University to my current position as an assistant professor, my research was guided by an attempt to understand social behaviour in its full complexity. To achieve this aim, I attempted to answer vital questions creatively combining research perspectives. To enhance my interdisciplinary and broad perspective on social issues, I also sought to boost my understanding of psychology and economics. Observing economic and social turmoil caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, I turned my attention to issues of economic anxiety, the sense of financial threat and conspiracy beliefs. Meanwhile, I remain dedicated to Open Science practices and actively employed the Open Science principles in all of my research.
