Embodiment of Core Values: Celebrating the Dangal EsP Champion
The search for the Dangal EsP (Maka-Diyos, Makatao, Makakalikasan, at Makabansa) awardee was carried out through a rigorous and meaningful selection process that aimed to recognize a learner who exemplifies the core values of Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao. A total of ten carefully selected candidates underwent a structured interview process designed to assess not only their knowledge and understanding of these values but, more importantly, how these are reflected in their daily lives, decisions, and interactions with others. Each candidate was given the opportunity to share personal experiences, insights, and concrete examples that demonstrated their commitment to being God-centered, humane, environmentally responsible, and patriotic.
The evaluation was conducted by a distinguished panel of judges composed of Engr. Czarina Cleth M. Macuha, Jennelyn H. Miranda, and Jake Mark R. Ricalde. With their diverse expertise and keen sense of discernment, the board ensured that the selection process remained fair, objective, and aligned with the set criteria. The judges carefully examined the candidates’ responses, bearing, sincerity, and depth of reflection, ensuring that the chosen awardee would truly embody the essence of Dangal EsP.
Throughout the interview process, all ten candidates demonstrated commendable qualities and inspiring narratives that reflected strong moral character and social responsibility. Their stories highlighted acts of kindness, leadership, environmental stewardship, and faith-driven decision-making, making the selection process both challenging and enriching. The activity not only served as a competition but also as a platform to celebrate and reinforce the importance of values formation among learners.
After a thorough deliberation and careful consideration of all aspects of the evaluation, BJ O. Arandia was declared as the Dangal EsP awardee. BJ stood out for consistently demonstrating the ideals of being Maka-Diyos, Makatao, Makakalikasan, at Makabansa, supported by authentic experiences and a clear sense of purpose. His/her responses reflected sincerity, depth, and a strong commitment to living out these values in meaningful and impactful ways.
The conduct of this activity successfully highlighted the significance of recognizing students who serve as role models in character and values. It reinforced the school’s commitment to holistic education by nurturing not only academic excellence but also moral integrity and social consciousness.
