12th September 2026 588 supporters of petition #3. This is the key petition. It addresses and challenges the key decisions made about Leicestershire by the government in July.
There are four variants of #3, which urge a closed-down district or borough in the south of Leicestershire to support petition #3.
Hinckley #1 petition has 330 supporters. Blaby #1 petition has 136 supporters.
Harborough #1 petition has 53 supporters. And Oadby #1 petition has 25 supporters.
Petition Hinckley #2 We request that Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council start up the Leicester Life website's five year international and multi-lingual Art Project, as part of their cultural programme.

Leicestershire Petition #16 We urge the executive Mayor of Leicester City, Sir Peter Soulsby, to resign and the same also the 10 members of parliament within the county of Leicestershire. This has 32 supporters.
Petition #1 Leicestershire's District and Borough Councils should not be closed down. The government has not properly presented and justified its intentions.
Petition #2 The City Council's Unitary area should not be increased and perhaps, for the improved wellbeing of people in the county, that area should be decreased.

There are four variants of #3, which urge a closed-down district or borough in the south of Leicestershire to support Petition #3. My physical visits for collecting petition support names have been to Hinckley, Blaby, Market Harborough and Leicester City.
Hinckley #1 petition has 293 supporters. Blaby #1 petition has 115 supporters.
Harborough #1 petition has 39 supporters. And Oadby #1 petition has eight supporters.
