Legato Read is a language-learning app designed to help you build a consistent reading habit through daily reading practice.
Choose the language you want to learn and your difficulty level. A reading passage is provided for your daily practice.
Read at your own pace and complete your daily reading to build your Days in a Row.
Legato Read is designed around daily reading practice rather than browsing an archive of previous passages.
Previous daily passages are not generally available for browsing. However, sentences you choose to save can be reviewed later in Saved Sentences.
Use the save option on a supported sentence while reading. Saved sentences can be reviewed later from Saved Sentences.
Yes. You can change your learning settings in the app.
Difficulty is managed separately for each learning language, so each language can have its own level.
Legato Read provides five difficulty levels:
Beginner → Easy → Everyday → Natural → Fluent
Choose the level that feels comfortable for your current ability.
Legato Read Plus provides additional features available through an optional in-app purchase.
The available Plus features and purchase details are shown in the app before purchase.
No. The Lifetime option is a one-time in-app purchase and does not automatically renew.
If you previously purchased Legato Read Plus, use the Restore Purchases option in the app while signed in with the Apple Account used for the original purchase.
Yes. Daily reading reminders are optional.
You can change or disable your reminder from the app settings. Notification permissions can also be managed through your device settings.
The free version of Legato Read may display advertisements to help support the app.
Advertising may vary depending on your device, region, privacy choices, and availability.
On supported Apple devices, tracking permission can be managed through:
Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
Your choice does not prevent you from using the core features of Legato Read.
Your nickname is optional. You can change or remove it from the app settings.
If you experience a problem:
Make sure you are using the latest version of Legato Read.
Close and reopen the app.
Check your internet connection if an online feature or advertisement is not loading.
Restart your device if the issue continues.
If the problem is related to an in-app purchase, try Restore Purchases before contacting support.
