With the establishment of the Wim Henderickx Foundation, a core group of close associates aims to maintain, document, and further disseminate the legacy of composer Wim Henderickx. We look to the past, present, and future. The Foundation seeks to ensure that forty years of expertise are preserved and made accessible for future generations, to keep Wim's work as an artist, educator, and inspirer in the spotlight, and to initiate and support specific projects in the future.
MISSION:
To preserve and enliven the œuvre of Wim Henderickx (artistic aspect)
To inspire young people and musicians through his methodology, also through publications (educational aspect)
To involve diverse groups from society, reflecting Wim as an inspirer and connector (social aspect)
