ℹ️ 01 Setting Up Windows
Open the box that your device comes in!
Look for the Charger, Manuels, and Warranty.
Plug in the Charger and turn on the device with the power button.
Follow the on-screen instruction to sign into your Microsoft Account.
ℹ️ 02 Learning Windows Apps
At the bottom left corner, click the Windows logo (or* tap the Windows key located on the device).
There you’ll see “Search apps, settings, and documents”.
Click the "All >" button to explore apps!
Right click to access folder location (depends if app supports it), Pin to Start, Unpin from Start, Run as Administrator.
ℹ️ 03 Uninstalling Apps
Tap/click the Windows key and click the "All >".
Right Click.
Click "Uninstall".
⚠️ If you already use these apps on a regular basis, then don't remove the app(s). Only remove the ones you don't plan on using at all.
Recommended apps to remove:
- Copoilet
- Microsoft 365
- Sticky Notes
- Any Adobe Apps
- Mail & Calendar
- Dropbox Promotion
- LinkedIn
- Trello
- Paint
- Photos
- OneNote
- Snipping Tool
- Paint 3D
ℹ️ 04 Updating Windows
Open the Settings app either using the Windows key and using the search bar (or* WIN + I).
Click "Windows Update" and click "Check for updates" button.
This will check for important updates that your device needs to run properly.
ℹ️ 05 Updating Drivers
Open the Settings app either using the Windows key and using the search bar (or* WIN + I).
Click "Windows Update" and click "Check for updates" button.
Click the "Advanced options" button.
Optional updates.
Anything Intel, NVIDIA, or Realtek should be installed and updated.
ℹ️ 06 Updating NVIDIA Drivers
Open the NVIDA GeForce Experience app either using the Windows key and using the search bar (or* WIN + I).
Login with your NVIDA account or create one.
Check for updates and install the update.
Click "Express Installation"
It will ask for permission click "Allow".
Allow the update to finish.
ℹ️ 07 Tweaking Performance
Control Panel:
Open the Control Panel app either using the Windows key and using the search bar (or* WIN + I).
Open "Hardware and Sound".
Open "Power Options".
Under selected plan or hidden plans, choose "High Performance".

NVIDIA Control Panel:
Open the NVIDIA Control Panel app either using the Windows key and using the search bar (or* WIN + I).
Click "Manage 3D Settings".
Click the "Global Settings tab" and choose "High-performance NVIDIA processor" under the preferred graphics processor drop-down bar.
Go to "Power management mode" and set to "High Performance".
