🚀 Advanced Workshop on Green Hydrogen Technologies: Research Highlights & Innovations 

The Department of Chemical Engineering, IISER Bhopal is organizing a 2-day advanced workshop on cutting-edge hydrogen technologies on March 13 (Friday) & 14 (Saturday), 2026.

📝 Registration details:
·     Registration is mandatory
·     No registration fee
·     Last date to register: February 28, 2026
·     Venue: Lecture Hall Complex, IISER Bhopal, Bhauri,  Bhopal, M.P., India
·     Hostel accommodation will be provided, subject to availability
·     Travel Allowance (TA) will be reimbursed only to student participants; priority will be given to early registrants. Please refer to the registration form for complete details.
·     Seats are limited; early registration is encouraged.

🔬 What to expect?
·     Participant research showcase: Interested participants are invited to submit abstracts for poster presentations and/or prototype showcase/demonstrations presenting research or perspectives related to green hydrogen technologies. Selected submissions will be invited to participate in the corresponding category during the workshop.
·     Participation as an attendee: Participants who wish to attend the workshop without presenting are also welcome. However, registration is mandatory.
·     Hands-on, laboratory-based technical demonstration of recent research/advances on hydrogen production technologies.
·     Invited talks and lectures by experts from policy, academia, and industry.
 
🌱 Key focus areas include:
·     Hydrogen generation by seawater electrolysis & membrane-free electrolyser
·     Electrocatalysis for water splitting
·     Challenges for green ammonia production
·     Green hydrogen technologies: Industry perspective
·     AI integration into green hydrogen plants

💡🎖️ Certification:

·     Research Showcase Recognition: Outstanding contributions in the research showcase, comprising poster presentations, prototype showcases, and/or demonstrations, will be recognized for creativity, innovation, technical quality, and presentation.

·     Certificate of Participation: All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation upon successful completion of the workshop.

The workshop is open to students, early-career researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and policymakers with an interest in green hydrogen, sustainable energy, and related technologies. Interested participants are required to register in advance.
