Welcome to the Laboratory of Electrochemical & Energy Materials (LEEM) at IISER Bhopal. We are a research-driven group dedicated to pioneering the next generation of sustainable energy solutions. Our lab specializes in the design and development of electrochemical systems, including electrode and electrolyte innovations, catalyst optimization, reactor-scale integration and the integration of engineered nanostructures . These systems are tailored to enhance the efficiency, selectivity, and long-term stability of energy conversion and storage processes.
At LEEM, we integrate expertise in electrochemical engineering, electrochemistry and materials science to solve some of the world’s most pressing energy and environmental challenges. Our current focus spans a wide range of domains including seawater electrolysis, green hydrogen production, electrocatalysis, and fuel cells
