Where Am I Now?
My aim is to be a HR Personnel who understand both business and people. After the three experiences mentioned previous, I am now much more prepared to enter into workforce and be a HR who truly cares about people as compared to when I just started my university life.
Besides gaining experiences and knowledge related to HR, all the experiences that I have gotten during these four years have great impacts in shaping my mindsets, personality and behaviours. Which are equally invaluable as the professional knowledge and experiences gained.
I am currently in the final semester and am taking the capstone research module of studying a real-life HR issue. Which I believe will better enhance my HR professional knowledge and skillsets.
Nonetheless, to be a professional HR practitioner, I will continue to absorb and update HR related knowledge through workshops, trainings and HR network groups.
What is Next?
I am starting job search to look for a HR role. The roles that I am more interested in are compensation and benefits related or HR analyst which require strategic mindset and analytical skills. These two roles seem to fit my personality of practical, meticulous, empathetic, problem-solver and open-minded.
