My LED learning journey

Two months went by throughout my LED journey. We engaged in two very interesting, online talks with Dr. Aser Javier, known as the "Father of LED" in this country, during this time. The remaining weeks were divided up into lessons that required us weekly outputs. Why were all of these things interesting and challenging? On top of LED being a complex process in affecting development in our community, we had to master the many graphic design platforms and tools that aren't often used in our workspace in order to produce the weekly outputs.

The idea of local economic development still carries with it uncertainty and apprehension. Many fellow government workers may have limited knowledge and understanding of the concept and may be uncertain about the role they need to play in order to ensure successful outcomes. Additionally, there may be a feeling of apprehension about the potential for economic development initiatives to fail, or to have unintended consequences.

Therefore, the knowledge I've gained on this wonderful learning journey has greatly helped me in my capacity as the LED coordinator of my city.  Insights from each learning session will undoubtedly help me in carrying out my tasks and responsibilities. I'm looking forward to more interactions with all the other LED Champions who are journeying with me, because learning is a lifelong process. The insight provided by my fellow LED champions during this study is illuminating...encouraging.
