It has been a week since we opened, and the weather has been pooling perfect. In that time, the board has been extremely busy analyzing pool usage and times and how we can make the Summer of 2020 even better! We are going to implement a couple of changes. We will have two sessions with more members allowed in each session and we will add the opportunity for limited guests. Due to our changes, we are unable to accept any further memberships the rest of this year; July 5th was the last available day to reach out via email for a membership. These changes will take effect July 9th, 2020. If you have a time slot reserved after July 8th, you will need to go in and reset your reservation as all reservations July 9th and after will be deleted to allow for the session changes.
1. Session times will be as follows:
a. Session 1 – 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM The whistle will be blown at 2:55 for the clearing of the pool. Please exit promptly, so we can sanitize and prepare for our next session. All members must be out of the pool area and pool house by 3:10PM.
b. Session 2 – 3:30 – 8:00 PM
2. We will have a maximum number of 50-member time slots to reserve for each session. Reservation protocols will remain the same, every 3 days you may pick a time slot to reserve, reservations are shut off 24 hours prior to the day you want to use. (You want to swim on Wednesday, sign up by Monday at midnight.)
3. Walk-Ins will still be accepted on a first come first serve basis and unlimited amount of times.
4. There will be 20 guest spots available per session. The following rules applies to the guest spots.
a. All guests must fill out a Guest Information Form. This form will be available on our website or at the front desk. No exceptions.
b. Reservations are accepted up to the close of the pool the day prior. (You want to bring a guest on Wednesday, you have till Tuesday at 7:45 PM to reserve and pay for that guest spot.
c. Members are allowed up to 4 guests at a time per member family.
d. Guests must be accompanied by an adult if under 15.
e. Guest fees are $7.00 cash per guest, regardless of residency. Cash only.
f. Guest fees must be paid prior to the desired day to guarantee guest reservation.
g. There will be walk in guest spots, but those are on a first come first serve basis and will be limited if a high number of members are in attendance. We suggest calling ahead and speaking directly to a Ledges Lifeguard.
The Ledges Pool will continue to sanitize before sessions, between sessions, during sessions when possible and after the close of the last session. These changes are subject to change at any time. Members will be notified of any changes immediately via Facebook and E-soft. Make sure your email address is current in our E-Soft system.

These rules and regulations are in addition to our normal rules and regulations.
Reservation System: The reservation time slots are as follows:
The Reservations, rules and guidelines are subject to change at any time by the pool once we gauge how the system is running or by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
1st Session: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM – Check in will begin at 10:50 AM. The whistle will be blown at 1:45 for everyone to exit the pool. All members must exit the facility by 2:00 PM for cleaning. Social distancing of 6’ from each family must be adhered to at all times during check in and while at the pool.
2nd Session: 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM – Check in will begin at 2:20 PM. The whistle will be blown at 5:15 for everyone to exit the pool. All members must exit the facility by 5:30 PM for cleaning. Social distancing of 6’ from each family must be adhered to at all times during check in and while at the pool.
3rd Session: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM – Check in will begin at 5:50 PM. The whistle will be blown at 8:00 PM for everyone to exit the pool. All members must exit the facility by 8:15 for final nightly cleaning. Social distancing of 6’ from each family must be adhered to at all times during check in and while at the pool.
A separate How to Reserve your time slot on E-Soft will be coming out soon that will walk you through the reservation process.
Reservations are limited to 40 people per session.
Reservations are PER PERSON not per family regardless of age. Please keep that in mind when making a reservation, even your newborn/infant needs a reservation. Reservations must include the full name of the member attending the pool on that particular day. Only the people that are registered for that time slot will be allowed entrance into the pool. No exceptions will be made.
Reservations are 1 per person every 3 days. The reservation system is NOT by family, it is by individuals. Your family can split up the times – If you a family of 4 – one parent can bring one child at 11:00 and the other parent can bring the other child at 6:00. You can split it up however you want as long as each individual regardless of age is only coming 1 time every 3 days.
Reservations can be made up to two weeks out. Reservation time slots will close 24 hours prior to the date at midnight.
This does not include the walk-in time slots. Those are completely different than the Esoft reservations. See below
THIS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE
No Show Policy/Reservation Cancellation. All cancellations must be made at least 1 hour prior the session start time. This must be done by calling the pool and speaking directly to a lifeguard or leaving a voicemail message (the voicemail box is time stamped at the time of call and caller ID will be used for verification). If you fail to cancel your reservation ahead of time 2 times your membership will be revoked for the 2020 year and you will not be refunded your membership fee.
Abuse of reservations system. If you sign up more than 2 times per week for a time slot on ESoft you will get be given one warning for abusing the system. The second time, your 2020 membership will be revoked, and no refunds will be given. In one week, a person is allowed to sign up 2 times in a 7-day week of Sunday to Saturday.
Reservation time slots will be shut off for no further reservations 24 hours prior to the date at midnight. If you want to come to the pool on Friday, you must make your reservation by Wednesday at Midnight.
Walk-In’s will be accepted if there are available time slots. You can go into E-Soft and view how many time slots are available. These time slots are first come first serve, absolutely no calls will be accepted. There will be a rope at the door, and you MUST wait to be checked in by a guard prior to entrance. Please understand these spots are first come first serve. The Walk-in time slots do not count against your 2 E-Soft reservation times, these are simply additional times you may come to the pool. All members have to be checked in on E-Soft prior to entrance to the pool. The time slots for entrance to the pool for Walk-In’s will be at

Session 3 – 6:30 PM
No children under the age of 14 may be dropped off or left unattended at the pool. No exceptions. Due to recommendations hand washing and social distancing are the preventive measures to reduce the risk of Covid. Parents and guardians are responsible for maintaining these safety precautions for their children, not the employees of the Ledges.
If members that are dropped off receive multiple warnings for behavior or social distancing infractions, the membership will be revoked after 2 warnings with no refund.
There will be no early morning lap swim.
We cannot control the weather or mechanical issues. There are no make-ups for weather related or mechanical closings.
Food will be allowed at this time. This is subject to change if the deck, tables and chairs become littered with trash.
Ice cream will be available but only EXACT change will be accepted. Ice Cream will be $1.00 or $2.00 depending on the item purchased. There may also be popsicles for 25 cents. Please remember, exact change only. Please practice safe social distancing of 6’ while waiting to make a purchase.

The Ledges Pool will not provide any pool noodles, kick boards, goggles, face masks or toys. Members may bring in their own, but the pool will not have any available for member use at this time. There will be 2 basketballs available to be used at the basketball hoop.
There is no water bubbler available, please bring your own water.
Social distancing must be practiced while in the restrooms. Two people in the restroom at a time and members must wait on the x’s for the next available stall or shower. There will be soap, paper towels and touchless garbage cans for trash in the restrooms.
NSF Fees. If the Ledges pool has a check returned from a member for a membership the membership will no longer be available. You will go on the waiting list and become a cash payment member for the following year. The Ledges Pool will add an additional $35 fee to your next membership and will not run the check again. If a check is bounced for a party that has already occurred, that member will then become a cash payment member only for the following year. No future checks will be accepted from individuals whose checks are returned NSF. No exceptions.
Private Parties are as follows:
Offered 7 days a week in the mornings from 8:30 – 10:30 AM upon guard availability ONLY. 40 guests may attend, if non-members they will need to fill out a residency information sheet. 3 Guards will be available for the party. Food may be brought in but MUST be cleaned up by party contact. $350.00
Offered 7 days a week in the evenings from 8:45 PM – 10:45 PM upon guard availability ONLY. 40 guests may attend, if non-members they will need to fill out a residency information sheet. 3 Guards will be available for the party. Food may be brought in but MUST be cleaned up by party contact. $350.00
Private parties are available to ALL Ledges Pool members from 2019 – 2020.
Please call the front desk to schedule a time to meet in person with a guard or board member to schedule your party. Payment is due upon booking of the party. If inclement weather occurs prior to your party or within 1 hour, parties may be rescheduled if dates and lifeguards are available. Parties that have already begun, their refund will be prorated if a suitable date is not available.
The guards will have their temperatures taken every day prior to the start of their shift. All Ledges lifeguards have been trained on Covid19 protocols including sources of exposure, hazards associated with exposure, best practices to reduce exposure and appropriate protocols the Ledges Pool have implemented to reduce the likelihood of spreading the disease.
If members are experiencing any Covid19 symptoms, entrance to the pool will be denied. Lifeguards can and will do random checks on members if symptoms are visible. If a members temperature is 100.4 by a touchless thermometer while at the pool, you will be asked to sit in the shade and have your temperature taken 10 minutes later. If it reads 100.4 a 2nd time after being out of the sun, you and your family will be asked to leave the pool for safety precautions.
The Ledges Pool recommends hand washing for 20 seconds or more, cover your cough or sneeze and wash your hands immediately after.
Masks are recommended to be worn if social distancing is not practical. Masks are NOT recommended to be worn while in the water. If members want to wear a mask, you must provide your own.
Hand sanitizer will be available at the front desk for member use.
All chairs will be placed 6’ apart from one another. Chairs may NOT be moved. There will be 2 lounge chairs with a 3rd chair in the grouping.
There will be a lost and found. The lost and found will be disposed of every Sunday evening in the garbage. If you have left something at the pool and do not have a time slot coming up, please call the pool and we will put it off to the side until your next visit. We will hold on to lost and found items for two weeks.
WEDNESDAY JULY 1 is our OPENING DAY!
Due to Phase IV Guidelines we are able to open with restrictions. A full list of restrictions will be forthcoming. As of right now this is our plan:
Family Memberships will be a total of $325.00
Individual Memberships will be a total of $175.00
PAYMENT DROP REQUIREMENTS: To utilize the reservation system, your account must be paid in full You may drop off payment in the form of cash or check during the following days/times: Checks may NOT be mailed in – they have to be hand delivered directly to the pool.
Saturday June 27th – 11 AM – 2:00 PM
Sunday June 28th – 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Monday June 29th – 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
The remaining balance owed, if you elect to keep your membership will be due by check or cash, at the front desk prior to entrance to the pool. If you decide this is not for you and your family, you can make a request for a full refund or your money to be rolled over till the 2021 pool season. A decision to forgo your 2020 membership must be made via email to email@example.com by Tuesday June 30, 2020. If this is the decision you make, you will still have the option to join for the 2021 season. If you paid the full $425.00 prior to the deposit, you will be reimbursed the $100.00. A check will be mailed out to you within two weeks.
We will utilize a reservation system. As of right now, we are planning on 2-3 sessions a day with a maximum member capacity of 40. Due to trying to keep this as fair as possible for all members, repetitive time slots will not be allowed. For example: If you reserve 11:00AM time slot on Monday, you cannot use the 11:00 time slot on Tuesday or Wednesday. There will be NO weather and/or closure make up spots. If you sign up on Friday, and it rains during your session or the pool has to close early, there is no make up for that rain day or closure. This is an outdoor pool and it is completely weather dependent. There will be more to come soon on this system. PLEASE bear with us as we are trying to figure this all out to be as fair as possible to everyone!
Everything will be done electronically.
All minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
No Wednesday Pizza days
The pool will not have noodles, toys, etc. available for member use

Hello Ledges Pool Members. We are saddened that we are not able to open as we have in the past on Memorial Day weekend. Please know the board is doing everything possible and keeping apprised of all situations that affect the pool either by complete closure or opening with limited capacity. For those of you that do not know, the Ledges Pool is a not for profit private pool. Our revenue to open, year-round maintenance, insurance premiums, payroll for our guards and any other expenditures is derived directly from you – our members - in the form of membership fees, guest passes, pool rental and treat purchases. We want to open just as badly as each one of you. The Ledges Pool this year will have to make some tough decisions on IF we can open safely, what will our capacity be capped at as well as whether all safety precautions can be adhered to as per the CDC and the Illinois Department of Public Health. The health and safety of our members and lifeguards is first and foremost for the Ledges Pool.
For the 2020 Pool Season only, the Ledges Pool is implementing the following:
To be eligible for the current 2020 season, members must pay a 50% deposit of their membership fee by June 10, 2020; Family membership deposit is $212.50 and Individual Membership deposit is $112.50. If you are a current Ledges Pool member and choose not to pay the deposit, you will not lose your opportunity to be a member for 2021. This deposit holds your spot for 2020 only IF the pool can open at any point this summer.
If you have already paid, you need to do nothing. Your spot has been reserved.
All fees must be paid by check postmarked no later than June 10, 2020 to Ledges Pool, PO Box 37, Roscoe, IL 61073. Late payments will not be accepted. The option to pay online has been disabled.
You may still go online and update your family information, proof of residency and pictures of all family members. Birth certificates are still required and can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Once birth certificates are sent in, they will be deleted, the Ledges Pool will not under any circumstance maintain copies.
No guests will be allowed at the Ledges Pool for 2020.
Swim lessons and private parties are currently on hold for the time being. These options may open as soon as we get direction from the CDC, state, and County.
As of May 18, 2020, no new memberships will be accepted. If you are a new member this year and have already paid, you are considered a current member. A waiting list has already been started for the 2021 season. If you, or you know of someone, that has inquired about membership and did not already pay in full, they have been added to the wait list. If you know of a family or an individual wanting a 2021 membership, please have them email the email@example.com and they will be added to the wait list. The wait list will be in order of receipt via email only.
The board is doing everything possible to reduce expenditures and working tirelessly to figure out a way to open as quickly and safely as possible when allowed. We are in the same position as all of you - not knowing what will happen and trying to forecast and plan for future events we have no idea about until they are disclosed to everyone at the same time. Please - we ask all of you to be patient and kind with us - we are truly doing our best.

We offer a variety of social events for all ages, multiple levels of swim lessons, and a recreational swim team! The Ledges staff and board is focused on maintaining a safe, clean and relaxing pool for your family to make all your summer memories by the water.
