Effective Date: June 9, 2026
Infidhi Ventures Private Limited Labs("we", "our", or "us") operates the LearnJS mobile application (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service.
1. Information Collection and Use
Our app is designed to provide an interactive learning experience. To help you master JavaScript, we process and store your learning progress locally and via privacy-conscious third-party services.
Learning Progress & Stats: Data regarding your daily streaks, completed chapters, roadmaps, quiz scores, XP (Experience Points), and unlocked achievements (e.g., First Topic, 7-Day Streak, Quiz Ace) are stored securely on your device to keep you motivated.
Code Input: Any code you write, modify, or execute in the Compiler Screen or Project Editor is processed entirely on your device or via local execution sandboxes. We do not collect or store your custom code on our servers.
2. App Structure & Features Covered
This policy applies to all modules of the LearnJS application, including:
Home Screen: Daily streaks, overall progress tracking, roadmaps, and chapter quiz results.
Learn Screen: Project lists (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) and the HTML/CSS/JS code preview interfaces.
Compiler Screen: Code editor, quick-tab shortcuts, and local output generation.
Profile Screen: Visual tracking of your stats, XP milestones, and earned achievements.
3. Permissions & Data Access
To provide a seamless educational experience, the app may require the following permissions:
Storage / Files: To allow you to export or save your written code, and to share project previews.
Internet Access: To load project resources, external code preview dependencies, and sync analytics.
Notifications: To remind you to maintain your daily streak and notify you of new chapters.
4. Analytics, Stability & Ads
We use trusted third-party providers to monitor app performance, fix bugs, and support ongoing development:
Firebase Crashlytics: Collects technical crash logs (device model, OS version) to ensure the code compiler and preview screens run smoothly.
Google Analytics: Collects anonymized usage data (e.g., popular chapters, average time spent on quizzes, achievement unlock rates) to improve our educational curriculum.
AdMob: Uses pseudonymous identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID or iOS IDFA) to serve relevant advertisements to free users.
Note: These third-party services never have access to the specific code you write or your personal quiz answers.
5. Data Security & Sharing
Code Sharing: When you use the "Share Code" feature in the compiler, the action is handled natively by your operating system's sharing sheet. We do not intercept or store the shared text.
Reset Code: The "Reset Code" feature permanently wipes your current editor text from the local app cache. This action cannot be undone.
6. Children’s Privacy
Our Service does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and discover that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
