To be verb is a verb needed in making a good sentence, in which the subject of the sentence does not do activities. To be verb includes is, am, and are which are used in telling something in present. This verb is commonly followed by nouns, noun phrases, adjectives, or adverbs. The usage of to be must follow the subject-verb agreements like in the picture below:
