It's always really important to look after your own wellbeing - but especially at the moment. Sometimes it feels hard to put yourself first but remember that advice on a plane - you have to fit your own mask before fixing others'.

Stay connected with other carers or family members. This can help you to share experiences, advice and support. Below, you will find a number of specialist organisations that offer family carer support.
The Carers UK website has links for support groups in your area, the carers online forum and a number to contact Carers UK for support too.
The Challenging Behaviour Foundation website has links for family and professionals to connect together. They also have a support line.
The Hft website has a free national famiy carer support service. They have included specific information in response to COVID-19 as well.
On the Carers Trust website you can find links to other services offering carer/family groups & resources including Mencap support groups.
