Practicum 7 is a course taken by fourth-year students in the STEM Teacher Preparation Program at the Faculty of Education, Assiut University. The course aims to help students develop as educators by integrating both theoretical knowledge and practical experience, along with guidance in understanding their responsibility for continuous professional development. Building on their prior experiences from observing and engaging with STEM high schools and their role as Learning Assistants (LAs) in university transdisciplinary and disciplinary courses, Practicum 7 focuses on refining their skills in preparing to lead instruction. This includes creating high-quality, integrated learning activities and assessment tools to support STEM High School instructors in enhancing students’ understanding and critical thinking. Additionally, the practicum will provide a foundation for the students' graduation project, supporting them in their development as teachers and emerging researchers.
