This section should include any calculations that you perform and any graphs or charts that you generate. You should show HOW calculations are carried out. Give the equation used and show how your values are substituted into it. Show all work for 1 set of data, not every data point collected. Note: Calculations may be handwritten (neatly), photographed and uploaded.
Make a simple statement concerning what you can conclude from the experiment.
(Create a separate paragraph for each of the following items. Consider adding photographs/videos to enhance this section of your report.)
What theory was demonstrated in this experiment? Identify and explain any observed trends in your data/results. How was the Purpose of the experiment fulfilled?)
Rate the strength of your conclusions by identifying your confidence level on a scale of 1-10 (with 10 being the highest). Explain why you chose this number. Suggest at least one future experiment that you would like to conduct and how it might strengthen (or weaken) your conclusions, based on the results.
Instrumental error and human error exist in all experiments, and should NOT be mentioned as a source of error unless they cause a significant fault. Significant figures and mistakes in calculations are NOT a valid source of error.
Create a separate paragraph for each of the following items.
What are some specific sources of error and how do they influence the data? Do they make the values obtained larger or smaller than they should be?
Which measurement was the least precise? What would you do differently if you were to repeat the experiment and wanted to obtain better precision?
Calculate Percent Error and/or Percent Deviation (if possible) and include it in this section.
