Project Objective & Summary

The project “OFF THE GRID” uses the natural grid of palm trees on site as the foundation for an art gallery design. By embracing this existing grid, the building achieves both organization and creativity, seamlessly integrating with the coastal environment. The grid provides structure across disciplines while reimagining the landscape into a space where art and architecture coexist in a well-organized and engaging environment.

The northern façade employs an advanced parametric and dynamic mechanism that transforms the façade itself into a work of art. By shifting cubes into varying shapes and sizes, it generates a dynamic visual composition that reflects the project’s programme as an art gallery.
