My experience prior to becoming a school counselor include working at Abbott House, Burlington UM Family Services group homes, HaugBeck group homes for people with disabilities, and being an aide in an emotional-behavioral classroom. My main focus is to facilitate academic success, emotional & social supports and encourage career development.
I love the school student population as no 2 days are ever the same.
