Humanities Research

Humanities Research is a companion elective to support students enrolled in AP Human Geography and World History Honors 9. This course is designed to serve as a foundation for Advanced Placement (AP) courses and the AP Capstone program should a student decide to enroll. The curriculum in this course focuses on building and strengthening the knowledge and skills necessary for understanding the major themes in history and geography as well as the foundations of historical research. At the end of this course, all students should be equipped to take more challenging social studies courses including AP World Modern, AP United States History, AP Psychology, AP United States Government and Politics, AP Comparative Government and Politics, AP Economics, and the AP Capstone Program (AP Seminar and AP Research).
