AP Research is the second course in the AP Capstone program. Students research an academic topic, problem, issue, or idea of individual interest. Throughout the year, students investigate their research question using their skills learned in AP Seminar while keeping a process and reflection portfolio. The course culminates with an academic paper (4,000-5,000 words) and a presentation with an oral defense.
