The logo of the Ladies of Charity symbolizes the life of the Ladies. The cross stands for faith, the anchor for hope, the heart for love.

The cross invites the Ladies to carry their own cross and to follow Jesus. And Jesus is in the poor.

The anchor is an invitation to the Ladies to put all their trust and be anchored on God. Any foundation where God is not present will be similar to a man who builds his house on sand. It will be ruined when winds strike and rain waters fall.

And the heart. It is the heart of Jesus. It is the heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is the heart of St. Vincent. The heart of the Ladies must beat in unison with the heart of Jesus, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and of St. Vincent.

Behind these symbols is the background likened to the Philippine flag with rays of the sun openly radiating light to all brothers and sisters especially the poor, their masters. The blue and red colors of the Philippine flag have been diluted resulting to aqua blue and pink shades. These are also the colors of the Ladies of Charity uniform. The aqua blue color represents the color of the Blessed Mother. The international association was canonically erected on the Feast of the Immaculate Concepcion in 1617. The pink color on the ribbon to which the crucifix is attached symbolizes love. The crucifix reminds the Ladies that they are serving God in their service of the poor.
